Comparison · Framer

Looking at Framer? Read this first.

Framer is an excellent website tool, built for designers and startups who want pixel-level control. A service business has a different job to do, and Framer leaves out almost everything past the website itself.

Built for designers

Framer's value is an open design canvas. A service-business owner who isn't a designer has to learn it, or hire someone who has.

Website only, no business tools

Framer has no booking, no CRM, no invoicing, and no quotes. Anything past the site is a third-party embed with its own login and bill.

Nothing for field work

There is no recurring-visit model, no route optimization, no dedicated business phone, and no app for a crew running jobs.

Side by side

Measured against the job a service business actually has to do. Facts from Framer's pricing and features pages, May 2026.

What you get on Meep

What you get on Meep

Framer designs the site. This is the business behind it.

1

No design skill needed

Pick a template built for your trade, add your details, and the site is ready. No open canvas to learn.

2

The site is the smallest part

Booking, a calendar, customer records, quotes, and invoices come with it. The things a business actually runs on.

3

Built for service work

Recurring visits, routes, and a dedicated business phone, none of which Framer touches.

4

One product, one login

Everything is in Meep, not a Framer site plus a booking embed plus a CRM plus an invoicing tool.

5

Priced for an operator

$29/mo for the site and the business behind it, or $99 one-time for a Meep Lite site.

Frequently asked

When is Framer the better choice? +

When you're a designer or agency that wants total creative control of a brand site, or you're building a startup landing page with heavy animation. Framer is the stronger tool for that.

Can't I just embed a booking tool in Framer? +

You can embed Cal.com or Calendly, but that's a separate product, login, and subscription, and it doesn't connect to a customer record or an invoice. Meep keeps booking, the calendar, and billing in one place.

Does Framer have a free plan? +

Yes, on a Framer subdomain with a Framer badge. Meep doesn't have a free tier, but Meep Lite is a one-time $99 for a real site, and Starter has a 14-day trial.

Is Meep's site as polished as a Framer site? +

A skilled designer can do more in Framer. Meep gives a non-designer a clean, trade-specific site fast, and ties it to the booking and invoicing that run the business.
